Down South Suga was founded in 2020 and started trading as a business in 2024 in Los Angeles, CA. Down South Suga is a luxury lip care brand with a creed to enrich people’s lives by using natural ingredients. The products are blended with essential oils in addition to other healing properties.
Founder & Creator
Down South Suga was birthed in a space of healing during a time of discovery. Founder and creator, Darren Lewis wanted to create a self-care product to serve as a source of comfort for seekers of serene living. Being a buyer of lip balm products, Darren could never find a product to meet his essential needs when it came to texture and ingredients. After testing and sampling a combination of ingredients, Darren found the best blend. As part of the healing process, Darren swore to share his gift of lip care with the masses with the intention to heal and inspire.
